Conference on the neurobiology of language
Interested in language and how the brain works? Whether you are a neophyte or initiated in these fields, we invite you to watch a conference given this summer by Dre. Tremblay on the topic of the neurobiology of language!
The talk has recently become available on the YouTube channel of Corpus Curiosum, a group aimed at stimulating critical thinking and connecting young neuroscientists around the world through online lectures followed by interactive discussions. These conferences bring together neuroscientists from 44 countries and over a hundred years of research institutions!
In her lecture, Dre. Tremblay illustrates how language production and comprehension are complex and precise processes. She then raises the issues associated with the classic models of the neurobiology of language, which aren’t suited to represent all this complexity and identify with sufficient precision brain regions involved in language.
