Thus, in addition to the academic activities named above, the scientific achievements of our team in 2022 are multiple.<\/p><p>We share with you a short summary of our main achievements of the year:<\/p><ul><li>We have published 6 scientific articles in international scientific journals and 2 are currently under review;<\/li><li>We have been working on the writing of 4 other articles which will be submitted shortly;<\/li><li>We set up our new <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/the-lab\/\">EEG platform<\/a> thanks to NSERC funding, and developed and started our first EEG study;<\/li><li>We worked on 10 projects involving <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/magnetic-resonance-imaging-mri\/\">MRI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/transcranial-magnetic-stimulation-tms\/\">TMS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/electroencephalography-eeg\/\">EEG<\/a>, tests of <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/les-fonctions-cognitives\/\">cognition<\/a>, hearing, <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/difference-between-speech-language-and-communication\/\">speech, voice and language<\/a>, and a survey. More precisely:<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>We collected data for 5 new projects<\/li><li>We met 115 volunteers and carried out with them a total of 219 experimental sessions;<\/li><li>We carried out analyzes within the framework of 4 projects<\/li><li>We have started the development of our major CIHR project (\u201cNeuroSPiN\u201d project);<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Pascale has obtained 4 grants for research projects:<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>2 as Principal Investigator (<a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/cihr-grant\/\">CIHR<\/a>, MITACS)<\/li><li>2 as a co-applicant (SSHRC with Andr\u00e9anne Sharp and QBIN with our alumni Edith Durand);<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Pascale has prepared and submitted 3 funding applications that are currently being evaluated (SSHRC, NSERC, CFI);<\/li><li>The students of the lab obtained 5 excellence scholarships (CIHR, FRQS, CRLBM and Universit\u00e9 Laval);<\/li><li>The students of the lab have submitted 4 scholarship applications which are currently being evaluated;<\/li><li>Pascale gave 2 guest lectures and was invited to join the editorial team of the prestigious Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience (JOCN);<\/li><li>The students of the lab made 10 scientific presentations;<\/li><li>Pascale and Marilyne organized a symposium at ACFAS;<\/li><li>Pascale organized an internship for First Nations youth in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/nouveauxsentiers.com\/\">Fondation Nouveaux Sentiers<\/a>(the internship will take place in January 2023), and began preparing for the next scientific day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/rbiq-qbin.qc.ca\/\">Quebec Bio-Imaging Network<\/a>, which will be held for the first time in Quebec City in 2023.<\/li><li>Pascale gave 5 media interviews;<\/li><li>We developed and launched our new website (thanks to Dominik and Karyne from <a href=\"https:\/\/conceptsk.com\/\">Concepts K<\/a>!);<\/li><li>We published 34 original capsules on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/speechneurolab\/\">Facebook page<\/a> and our blog (French and English), including the <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/launch-of-the-lab-video\/\">lab&#8217;s promotional video<\/a> and our first comic strip! A big thank you to Marilyne!<\/li><li>A student from the lab has obtained her master&#8217;s degree: <a href=\"https:\/\/corpus.ulaval.ca\/entities\/publication\/0513a6ae-e529-406b-80c4-259277f28819\">Elisabeth<\/a>;<\/li><li>We welcomed 7 new members:<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>1 post-doctoral researcher (<a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/arrival-of-edith\/\">Edith<\/a>);<\/li><li>1 research master&#8217;s student (<a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/new-interns-in-the-lab-beatrice-alexandre\/\">Alexandre<\/a>);<\/li><li>1 research assistant (<a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/welcoming-a-new-research-assistant-nathan\/\">Nathan<\/a>);<\/li><li>4 interns (Sabrina, Alexandre, <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/arrival-of-camille\/\">Camille<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/new-intern-at-the-lab-juan-camilo\/\">Juan<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>At the end of the year, the whole team carried out a thorough cleaning of the lab!<\/li><\/ul><p>The year has been busy!
