This event aims to showcase the research interests of students from the CRBLM\u2019s members. After completing a bachelor\u2019s and a master\u2019s degree in linguistics, Marc-Andr\u00e9 joined our team to study speech production and aging using <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/electroencephalography-eeg\/\">electroencephalography<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/histoire-de-la-stimulation-magnetique-transcranienne\/\">neurostimulation<\/a>, and tongue movement analysis through ultrasound tongue imaging.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/brain-language-music\/\">CRBLM<\/a>) is an interuniversity research consortium funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/frq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/\">Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> (Natural Sciences &amp; Engineering division). It brings together researchers and students who explore the fascinating connections between the brain, language, and music.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mini-symposium in which Marc-Andr\u00e9 will take part is titled:\u00a0\u00ab\u2009<strong>Avant que les mots ne se perdent\u00a0: rep\u00e9rer les premiers changements du langage li\u00e9s au vieillissement et \u00e0 la maladie<\/strong>\u2009\u00bb (<em>Before Words Are Lost: Identifying Early Language Changes Associated with Aging and Disease). <\/em>The symposium will feature three students, including Marc-Andr\u00e9! These events provide a unique platform to discover the work of the next generation of researchers in our field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An overview of Marc-Andr\u00e9\u2019s presentation
