Part One: Impacts on Articulation"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"11181\" class=\"elementor elementor-11181\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7dbd250 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7dbd250\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-570e17d\" data-id=\"570e17d\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc3b4b8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fc3b4b8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We are pleased to present the first in a series of infographics!<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These infographics, created by Alexandre Sicard, a PhD student in our lab, aim to showcase the key findings of our extensive research project on the effects of musical practice on cognition, language, and the brain (the <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/frqnt-funded-research-project-on-the-impact-of-musical-activities-on-the-brain\/\">PICCOLO project<\/a>, which stands for : <em>Project on the Impact of Instrument or Singing Practice on Cognition, Language, and Brain Organization [in French : <\/em>\u00a0Projet de recherche sur les effets de la <strong>P<\/strong>ratique d\u2019un\u00a0<strong>I<\/strong>nstrument ou du\u00a0<strong>C<\/strong>hant sur la\u00a0<strong>CO<\/strong>gnition, le\u00a0<strong>L<\/strong>angage et l\u2019<strong>O<\/strong>rganisation c\u00e9r\u00e9brale]).<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this first infographic, we highlight the results of the <a href=\"https:\/\/speechneurolab.ca\/en\/new-scientific-article-about-the-impact-of-singing-on-articulation\/\">first study published as part of this project<\/a>. This study, conducted by Pascale Tremblay, Lydia Gagnon, Alison Arseneault, and our collaborator Johanna-Pascale Roy, compares the articulatory and phonatory abilities of our group of singers to those of our control group.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discover how singers differ from non-singers by exploring our infographic.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the infographic to view it in a larger format.
