The human brain fascinates you ?
You wonder how researchers can study the formidable machine that is the human brain, to understand its anatomy, functioning and pathologies?
The CINQ organizes its first public event to address these important questions. Four brain imaging experts (Philippe Després, Simon Duchesne, Philip Jackson et Pascale Tremblay) will explain the bases of the main brain imaging methods, from positron emission tomography (PET) to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and talk about how these methods are used in research. After the talks, attendances will be invited to meet and discuss informally with research teams who will be present to answer all you questions and present their research projects.
